John Wick 5 has just come. We have not yet seen John Wick 4 yet, but John Feltheimer, CEO of Lionsgate, revealed the fifth chapter of the series under Keanu Reeves, during the quarterly P&L. Feltheimer added: “John Wick 4” and “John Wick 5” will be shooting successively in early 2021.
At the moment, two still unnamed recordings by John Wick are in the writing phase, although none of the authors have been announced. Director Chad Stahelski, who has starred in all three of John Wick’s previous films, is confirmed to be part of John Wick 4 and will likely also be part of John Wick 5.
It makes sense that Lionsgate would want to see more of John Wick, given the franchise ‘s increasing financial returns. In 2014, the original John Wick made an estimated budget of $20–30 million (about Rs. 150–225 crores) off $88.7 million (about Rs. 665 crores). John Wick ‘s 2017 sequel: Chapter 2 raised a $40 million (about Rs. 300 crores) in $171.5 million (about Rs. 1,286 crores).
The fourth film was supposed to be released on May 21, 2021, but has now been delayed. return by May 27, 2022 due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closure.
