Cardi B defends Kylie Jenner casting in ‘WAP’ music video

A petition requesting Jenner ‘s removal from the clip has reached over 64,000 signatures

With her latest track with Megan Thee Stallion, ‘WAP,’ Cardi B defended Kylie Jenner’s casting in the music video.

Collin Tille ‘s video includes a host of celebrity cameos including Normani, Rosalía, Sukihana, Mulatto and Rubi Rose.

Jenner has a cameo right in the middle of the video as well. However, her casting had puzzled some fans on the internet, as all the other episodes were performed by the musicians.

One Twitter user,RhapsoDani, praised Normani for dancing in the music video, but criticized Jenner for “walkingdown the hallway and opening the door,” adding that it was “a clear indication that black women should do the most and white” Women must do the least to get there.

Cardi wondered in a series of now deleted tweets why Normani was given a fairly minor role.

“Normani is one of the best women [sic] in dance,” Cardi tweeted, “like her fucking ass dancing!”

“Why would she bring the door open? Just tell me what the point is?
